If you receive unexpected payment instructions or a request to transfer money to a different bank account, please contact us before making the payment.
5. Changes in Prices

* Fuel prices

6. Cancellation by the Traveller
If you need to cancel your trip, please inform us in writing by email as soon as possible. Safari bookings often require us to make advance payments to lodges, camps, airlines, national parks and other suppliers. Some of these payments may be non-refundable.
The cancellation conditions and any cancellation fees applicable to your trip will be stated in your quotation, booking confirmation or invoice.
The amount that can be refunded will depend on:
* When you cancel;
* Payments already made to third-party suppliers;
* The cancellation conditions of hotels, lodges, camps and airlines;
* Park and permit fees already paid;
* Other costs already incurred for your trip.
We will always try to recover refundable costs from our suppliers where reasonably possible. We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption cover.
7. Changes Requested by You
We understand that travel plans can change. If you want to change your itinerary, travel dates, accommodation or activities after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to make the requested change, but changes depend on availability. Additional costs charged by hotels, camps, airlines, national parks or other suppliers will be passed on to you. A significant change of travel date may be treated as a cancellation and new booking if our suppliers do not allow the original reservation to be changed.
8. Changes by TRR Safaris
Travel in Tanzania is an adventure, and sometimes an itinerary needs to change.
We may adjust the itinerary when necessary because of circumstances such as:
* Weather conditions
* Road conditions
* Wildlife movements
* National park regulations
* Safety concerns
* Government restrictions
* Accommodation availability
* Flight schedule changes
* Natural disasters
* Other circumstances outside our reasonable contro
lIf a change is necessary, we will always try to provide a suitable alternative of a similar standard. Our priority will always be your safety and the overall quality of your experience.
9. Wildlife and the Great Migration
Tanzania's wildlife is wild and free. For this reason, TRR Safaris cannot guarantee that you will see a particular animal, the Big Five, a hunt, a river crossing or any other specific wildlife event.
The timing and location of wildlife and the Great Migration are determined by nature and can be affected by rainfall, food availability and other natural conditions.
Our experienced guides will always use their knowledge and experience to give you the best possible wildlife experience, while respecting the animals and national park rules.
We are guests in their world. We do not chase, surround, disturb or deliberately stress wildlife simply to obtain a photograph or closer view.
10. Respect for Wildlife and Nature
Respect for nature and wildlife is an important part of every TRR Safaris journey. Guests are expected to follow the instructions of their guide and the rules of Tanzania's national parks and conservation areas. This includes:
* Keeping a respectful distance from wildlife;
* Remaining inside the vehicle when required;
* Not feeding or touching wild animals;
* Not throwing rubbish into the environment;
* Not intentionally disturbing animals;
* Respecting protected areas and local regulations.
Our guides may refuse a request if they believe it is unsafe, illegal or harmful to wildlife or the environment. The safety and welfare of people and animals always come before getting the perfect photograph.
11. Safari Vehicles
Our safaris normally use specially equipped 4x4 safari vehicles with a professional driver/guide. Although we maintain our vehicles carefully, travelling through national parks involves rough and sometimes challenging roads.
Vehicle breakdowns, punctures, road delays or other unexpected situations can occasionally occur. If this happens, we will do everything reasonably possible to solve the problem and continue your journey.
Minor delays caused by normal safari conditions are part of travelling in remote areas and do not automatically provide a right to compensation.
12. Accommodation
We carefully select lodges, hotels and tented camps for your journey. Occasionally, an accommodation may become unavailable because of circumstances outside our control. If this happens, we will try to arrange an alternative of a similar or higher standard.
Accommodation in remote safari areas can be different from what you may be used to at home. Electricity, Wi-Fi, hot water or mobile coverage may sometimes be limited That is also part of travelling in some of Tanzania's most beautiful and remote wilderness areas.
13. Kilimanjaro and Adventure Activities
Climbing Kilimanjaro and participating in certain adventure activities involves physical effort and additional risks. Altitude sickness can affect anyone, regardless of age or fitness.
Our guides take safety seriously and may decide that a traveller must stop climbing or descend if they believe continuing would create an unacceptable health or safety risk. The decision of the lead guide concerning immediate safety must be followed.
Guests are responsible for informing us about relevant medical conditions, allergies, medication or physical limitations that could affect their participation.
If you are unsure whether you are fit enough for an activity, please consult a qualified medical professional before travelling.
Reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro can never be guaranteed.
14. Health and Medical Requirements
You are responsible for checking which vaccinations, medications and health precautions are recommended or required for Tanzania and any other country included in your journey.
Health requirements can change. Please obtain up-to-date advice from your doctor, travel clinic or relevant government health authority before travelling.
If you have allergies, dietary requirements, mobility restrictions or a medical condition that may affect your journey, please tell us before booking or as soon as you become aware of it.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements, but we cannot guarantee that every requirement can be met in remote areas.
15. Passports and Visas
Each traveller is responsible for having:
* A valid passport;
* The correct Tanzania visa, where required;
* Any required transit visas;
* Necessary travel documents;
* Required health or vaccination documents.
Please check passport validity and entry requirements well before departure. TRR Safaris cannot be held responsible if you are refused entry, boarding or travel because your documents are incomplete or incorrect.
16. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every guest has comprehensive travel insurance. Your insurance should preferably cover:
* Medical treatment
* Emergency evacuation
* Repatriation
* Trip cancellation
* Trip interruption
* Delayed or missed flights
* Lost or damaged baggage
* Theft
* Adventure activities included in your itinerary
* For Kilimanjaro climbs and certain adventure activities, your insurance should specifically cover trekking at the relevant altitude and emergency evacuation.
You are responsible for checking that your insurance provides sufficient cover for your journey.
17. Flights and Delays
International flights are normally not included unless specifically stated otherwise.
Domestic flights may be arranged as part of certain itineraries.
Airlines are independent companies and their schedules can change. TRR Safaris cannot control airline cancellations, delays, baggage problems or schedule changes, but we will assist you where reasonably possible if they affect services booked through us.
Please allow sufficient time between international and domestic flights whenever possible.

* Terrorism or security incidents
* Strikes
* Airport closures

* Natural disasters
If such an event affects your trip, we will work with you and our local partners to find the safest and most practical solution. Refunds or additional costs in these situations will depend on which services can be recovered, changed or refunded by the suppliers involved.

TRR Safaris is responsible for providing the travel services included in your confirmed booking with reasonable care.
Some services are provided by independent third parties, such as:
* Hotels and lodges

* Airlines
* Boat operators

If something is not right during your journey, please tell your guide or contact TRR Safaris as soon as possible.
